Privacy Policy background

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 26, 2026

This policy covers the QuickRefund marketing website.

It explains what we collect when you browse getquickrefund.com, read our resources, or contact us about our products. We have written it to describe what the site actually does, including the advertising and analytics technologies we use.

Two other things are covered elsewhere. If you are a consumer who has submitted a refund or dispute request, that service runs separately at quickrefund.ai under its own policy, and we do not run advertising trackers in that flow. If you are a merchant or partner using our platform, your account data is governed by your agreement with us and our sub-processor list.

Information You Give Us

When you submit a contact, demo, or partner form, we collect what you enter — typically:

  • Full name
  • Business email address
  • Company name
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Anything you write in the message field

We use this to respond to your enquiry, to follow up about our products, and to keep a record of the conversation in our CRM. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government identifiers, payment card numbers, or bank account details anywhere on this website, and you should not send them to us through these forms.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, we collect technical information when you visit: pages viewed, the site or ad that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser, operating system, and device type. Some of our tools also record how you move through a page — clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement — so we can see where the site is confusing. This is behavioural information, and we want to be direct about that rather than describe it as merely functional.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies from the providers below. This list is generated from the site’s own configuration, so it stays accurate as we add or remove tools.

You can also manage or block cookies through your browser settings, though some of the above are loaded as scripts rather than cookies and are best switched off using our privacy choices page.

Sharing for Advertising

We advertise on LinkedIn. To measure whether those ads work and to reach similar audiences, this site shares limited information — such as the pages you viewed and an identifier LinkedIn can match to its members — with LinkedIn Insight Tag. Those providers use that data for their own advertising products as well as ours.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this counts as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not provide it to data brokers.

Who Else Receives Your Information

Apart from the advertising sharing described above, we disclose information only to:

  • Service providers who process it on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes — such as HubSpot, which hosts our forms and CRM, and our analytics providers.
  • Our corporate affiliates, where needed to respond to your enquiry.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law, such as in response to a lawful subpoena, court order, or legal process — and then only the minimum required.

Your Choices

You can turn off advertising sharing and site analytics at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. You do not need an account or to give us any information to do this.

We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising sharing automatically, and it cannot be overridden on our side.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
  • Request a copy of it
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of it
  • Opt out of the sharing of your information for advertising
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To make a request, contact us. We will verify your request before acting on it and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You may use an authorised agent where the law allows.

How Your Information Is Protected

We use industry-standard security practices, including:

  • TLS encryption for all traffic to and from this site
  • Access controls limiting who internally can view enquiry data
  • Vendor review before we adopt a new tool that receives visitor data

No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data from unauthorised access.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as we need it to:

  • Respond to and follow up on your enquiry
  • Comply with legal obligations, such as tax or accounting rules
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each provider’s own retention schedule. Once data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Children’s Privacy

This is a business website and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version on this page with a revised Effective Date. If we make a change that materially affects how we use information we have already collected about you, we will give notice before it takes effect.
